the 4th global digital trade expo will open from sept 25 to 29 in hangzhou — capital of east china's zhejiang province — unveiling over 30 cutting-edge technologies, including humanoid robot livestreaming sessions and ai-driven cultural services.
as china's only national-level expo dedicated to digital trade, it highlights the city's role as a digital innovation hub.
ahead of the event, local firms showcased breakthroughs currently driving the sector:
manufacturer udeer's sweeping robots, powered by a master 2000 embodied intelligence chip, are already in demand across europe with orders worth 600 million yuan ($84.33 million).
cloud-based electronic signature solutions supplier esign processes 30 million digital signatures daily and has developed a contract ai model. it automates drafting, reviews and management, aiming to give small and medium-sized enterprises equal legal footing with large companies.
picocom, a baseband semiconductors and software specialist, has developed the pc802 baseband chip. it's china's only mass-produced chip enabling satellite-ground communications, supporting both satellite networks and terrestrial systems.
with digital trade volume reaching 160 billion yuan in the first half of 2025, up 16 percent year-on-year, hangzhou is consolidating its place as a key node in the global digital economy.
